In honor of Valentine's day, let's chat about the love hormone!

Oxytocin is the love hormone and it is responsible for many actions in the body! It plays a role in social bonding, social recognition, sexual health, orgasm, labor and delivery, and more!

This hormone is produced in the brain and serves as a neurotransmitter. It can be increased by something as simple as a hug. It can promote heart health, reduce stress, improve your sleep and support your immune system!

Do something for someone you love today and for you as well- share a hug!

Happy Valentine's day!
